In fact, with the exception of Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and the U.S., no country is serious about collecting enough plasma. In each of these countries, commercial plasma collection centres compensate people for giving plasma. In all other countries, they are not so compensated. And every country that does not have commercial paid plasma centres imports therapies from the countries that do.
